Launch of the 7 * 7 Gayaza Project
Promoting the Green Mission in the Community at the Shared Love Community School .
This was a launch of Collaboration on projects covering the 7 areas of Focus 7 by 7.
This was attended by seven Clubs and four Rotaract clubs . Four Members of the Rotary club of Gayaza attending and these were HCP Dan , DPR Liz ,Rtn Kevin and Rtn Samuel the media personnel. It was chaired by PDG Rosetti Nabumba .
Once again Community call rang on our door and we as RC Gayaza were compelled to once again participate in the Joint Club project.
RC Gayaza is one of the other clubs that are going to participate in the umbrella of Rotary club of Kasangati.
This 7* 7 project was held on 28th October 2023 at the Makukuba village at a school which is managed by shared love .
The project Is literally carried out by seven Clubs ,each one of them getting a share of what to contribute ,e.g
RC Nansana and Nagalama are going to handle Community Economic Development .
RC Kasangati is going to handle Water and sanitation projects .
RC Nsasa is going to handle Maternal and Child Health .
RC Gayaza , RAC Gayaza In Formation and RAC Gayaza Technical are going to handle the environment by supporting it .
RC Kyanja Metro ,RAC Kyanja are going to handle Basic Education and Literacy .
This was launched and will be tackled at a later stage in the Rotary year .
Rotary club of Gayaza is going to handle mission Green. More 2,000 tree seedlings were already planted in September, 500 trees on the launch day were planted and 2000 trees will be planted in November and along the project implementation. These trees include fruit trees , shade trees, pesticide trees and commercial trees .
