The 2025 Rotary Cancer Run took place on August 31st. The main event was held at Kololo Independence Grounds in Uganda, with parallel events happening in other major towns across the country.
It’s main purpose is to raise funds for the completion of a radiotherapy center at Nsambya Hospital.
Several Clubs Converge together and ran for a Cause to save Lives from Cancer by contributing a small fee of thirty thousand shillings to buy a kit of which this money is imparted back into the Rotary treasury to be used in future development of a Cancer Facility at Nsambya Hospital.
Rotary club of Gayaza also participated . We started from the Gayaza Corridor where our starting and ending point after running and walking was at the People’s Medical Hospital which is Owned by Dr Frank Ndugga our very own Honrary Rotarian.
Rotary club of Gayaza was also very present at Kololo Independence Grounds.
