This was held on the 19th of September at Namulonge Play Grounds. The main participant was People’s Medical Hospital Gayaza which partnered with the different medical fraternities in order to provide Free medical care to the vulnerable Community Memebers.
The main purpose of a free medical camp is to provide essential healthcare services to undeserved Communites , which includes offering free check-ups, consultations, and medicines for those who cannot afford them. These camps also focus on health education, raising awareness about preventive care, and screening for diseases, ultimately improving public health and well-being in areas with limited access to consistent medical facilities.

Provide immediate healthcare:
Offer free basic medical services, consultations, and sometimes specialized treatments to people in need.

Distribute medicine:
Give away necessary medications to patients to continue treatment after the camp ends.This was evidently done.

Promote preventive care:
Educate the community on hygiene, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Conduct screenings:
Perform various screenings, such as for vision, dental issues, cancer, and other common ailments, to catch problems early.

Improve public health awareness:
Raise awareness of existing health challenges and encourage people to seek care when needed, even if they can’t afford it initially.

Enhance community health outcomes:By providing care and education, these camps help improve the overall health of the community and prevent diseases from worsening.
