On October 24th 2025, the Rotary club of Gayaza joined the rest of the World in commemorating the World Polio day. Together with our corporate member, People’s Medical Hospital Gayaza, we undertook parent sensitisation and vaccinated over 50 children with the Polio Vaccine. Every step of commitment and good will draws us closer to a Polio Free world.
As we commemorated the World Polio Day as the Rotary Club of Gayaza and six other clubs through a collaborative 7 by 7 initiative, We set the bar high when we launched the Polio Lighting Logo on top of The People’s Medical Hospital for all revellers to see and realise the awareness of Polio which is still in our communities , We also participated In a massive Immunization of over 50 kids in a newly launched and opened state-of-the-art immunization clinic at the People’s Medical Hospital Gayaza, which is owned by Dr. Frank Ndugga our very own Honrary Rotarian. We were Graced and honored by the Prescence of the District Governor PDG Geofrey Kitakule who attended in Person and officiated this noble fellowship. #Weareclosetokickingoutpolio
